This Brooklyn, New York group formed in 65, releasing this sassy sister soul scorcher in 68/69 on what looks like a one-off label, reportedly owned by writer Stanley Lucas, guitarist for Gladys Knight & Pips.  Comfortably raw high-pitched vocals from Carol, a native of “Queens”, great male backing and searing hammond organ throughout.  Superb group ballad on the flip. 

 

Vinyl looks well used, top side Vg with pops at the start but clears up loud and clear thereafter, the flip is virtually the same, although the ballad allows the pops to be more distinctive, hence the difference in grade for each side.  A rare 45 that hardly shows up better than  Vg/Vg+, let alone in M-, would be £400-500 if it was, but priced according to grade.  Ideal for Dj-ing.
