Jamaican Soul

Recommended Posts

Two mellow tunes from the Caribbean. I'm not sure if Levi Johns is Jamaican and the single I have is on Wirl (Barbados). The second  45 by W King Cole gained a little bit of airplay in the 70s but hasn't been played for years as far as I can see (not that my finger is on any sort of pulse).

My copy of Maynell Williams is on UK CBM 001.

Nice one, it's the flip of 'Motown Feeling' which I only have on the CBM compilation on Ember. It's virtually all JA Soul but oddly titled 'In Reggae Time'?

Nice cover 😜
