Supercorsa
Is this the shortest spot ever I wonder? No. Dave Abbott played just one record at the now famous SSCDT Alldayer, the track being Bobby Hebbs, Love Love Love. Mind you, saying that the shortness of his spot was by choice, whereas your's wasn't. Link to comment

Soulsmith
Sorry, my warped sense of humour, i feel for you only getting the chance to play the two tunes & the sound system breaking down, it's not funny & i know i wouldn't be too happy if it happened to me. I was sort of taking the mickey out of myself also as i'm always banging on about what is NS & what isn't, this slapped me in the face earlier when i pulled Ady up on his R & B track only to find out he was playing at an R & B night! The Ella track is great & i spun it myself last Friday at Da Doo Ron Ron! Simon Well I thought it was funny post too. Some people, no sense of humour..... That spot will probably go down in legend. You've gone even further than the Wigan boys. They had the 3 before 8...... .......you've now got the 2 before 12 Link to comment
Guest
Cheers mate... will catch up on the 30th .... At least the speakers went in the last spot and people could go down to the other room.. Sorry if it ruined anyones evening... For some reason one of the speakers blew earlier on, so to compensate for it we turned the master up on the other speaker then this blew, it was nothing to do with the sound limiter as we never lost the power at any stage, which is what the limiter cuts out... its not old gear, Chris only bought the speakers/kit 18 months ago, so probably only been used out 10 times at the most... oh well what can we say except sorry .. Cheers everyone for making it a blinding night..... Some top tunes played as always .. Hope to see you for our 5th Anniversary in Feb 2007... with bigger and better speakers... Chris has already decided what he wants Mischief Thank god for that, glad you explained, I thought it was me dancing too near speakers! God did I feel stupid!!
