Paul McKay
For anyone who hasn't been before the Ditch bar is at 145 Shoreditch High St. We'll be on the ground floor this month. Liverpool St station is a 6-8 minute walk away and buses 149, 242, 8, 35, 47, 48 & 26 all run quite close (some stop outside). Hope to see a few SSers later. Merry Christmas! Link to comment
Geoff
I'll be there tonight Paul, all things being equal. I'm even giving up going to my employer's Christmas party for the staff. That's a big loss, lol. Can I inundate you all with requests? Preferably for stacks of 70s tracks. Link to comment

Martint
Yes mate. Thanks to the incredibly wonderful Kirsty I now have a record player. Hope everyone enjoyed themselves last night. yes mate, the dozen or so of us who turned up (a dozen including those of us playing the records) enjoyed it I think, but it's a bit of a waste of time putting on a mid-week night in London now as people just aren't interested. Thanks to those who came though - it was a bit like the mythical 'back to the underground with a few people playing records in the back room in a pub' type event really so I guess so I shouldn't complain, except it was in a smart shoreditch bar. I guess we'll keep plugging on until they kick us out (and to be fair, they haven't shown any signs of doing that)... have a swine of a hangover this morning and all - I blame that Tyler  Link to comment
Geoff
Shame there wasn't a bigger turnout, but I enjoyed it. Great music played, even if I didn't hear Big Dee. Not to worry, there is always next year. As always I ask if playlists can be posted? Only downside was an appalling journey home, trains replaced by buses, but no information or staff to help at Liverpool Street, reduced to wondering up and down the station to find out what was happening. Certainly the way to get people out of their cars, lol. Excuse the rant. Link to comment
