Well playing copy of one of the finest sister funk records out there and offered here for a fraction of the price due to the damaged flipside, who you wouldn't play anway as it's not really good. This copy is mislabeled as well, the lables show "See And Don't See" on either side, but the wounded flip plays "Daddy's House". Top side plays fine and that's the side you need.

Jean DuShon's career took off after she recorded the utterly brilliant "It Won't Stop Hurtin' Me" and she went on to Chicago and signed a contarct with Chess records. Her distinctive voice was rather schooled by jazz greats as Sarah Vaughn and this is never wrong, when it comes to the attempt to crossover to the soul market. Anyway, one of the finest examples of big city soul and astonishing cheap for the sheer quality of the performance.
