Ace and the house.

Posted

Well, I've had Ace for 5 months now and he is beginning to settle in. I've trained him on basic commands such as come, sit, fetch, down, stay - most of these I can do with hand gestures without speaking a word - that's pretty cool! He is still a nightmare with other dogs so I'm working with a second dog behaviorist - the first one felt that Ace was too big and strong when he loses control - its a work in progress.  Also my house renovation is starting to come together - 4 months over schedule and way over budget. I am now financially embarrassed.

Crikey mate - bit of a transformation there! Horrible enduring all the mess, and even more horrible having to stump up the cash...

Be well worth it in the long run though - how does Ace like his new digs then?

Well done, sir!

Just as well really ... if you had shown that second lot of photos first I'd have had to call in the heavy mob:

Atb,

His Highness Ace thinks he's the boss and would accept nothin less than a new kitchen!

Hope you are well Richard.

Ace is a handsome doggo - my rescue Staffy had reaction issues but months of patient & careful introduction to other dogs paid off, took a year

One day at a time Peter, he will settle down with patience and training.  The key to a dog's heart is love and food, find the right combination and he'll be fine.

He prefers to paint with his bear like paws! Similar approach to treading shit into the kitchen from the garden. :(

I hope you're well mate - you're demonstrating great fortitude on the Brexit thread!

I'm good mate, the wife has the same trouble with me after I've been playing in the garden.

Fortitude is what's required on the B subject, best leave it there though. One thread is quite sufficient.
