Odd Fellows Soul
Not many uptempo tracks but awesome retro soul doo wop Gospel inspired album. Can anyone recommend other 2019 retro soul albums otherthan Nick Waterhouse (Excellent), Carlton Smith and Alexis Evans. Looking forward to Andrea Day and Raphael Saadiq later this year. Joesoap
Thought track six was 60s Detroit when I heard it on the radio the other week (or had a sample from something quite familiar of that kind) but assume its just a skilful recreation of that sound. Like it. Edited May 21, 2019 by JoeSoap Link to comment Social source share
Timbo58
The track I span to a good reception last weekend was 'I called you back baby', a wonderful upbeat track with hints across the soul spectrum and even a little hip-hoppy to my ears anyway. Great album. Link to comment Social source share
