Is this the same Nomads?

I don't think it is the same as the "Something's Bad" group.  The lead for that group was Sonny Threatt.

There are several by the name Nomads.

Agreed IMHO

The Little Harold And The Fabulous Nomads was from Sumter, South Carolina, USA
Members : Harold Jordan (vocals), David Miller (lead guitar), Robert Lionel Curry (rhythm guitar) Mike Jordan (bass), David Jones (saxophone), Gary Dixon (trumpet), Henry Lucas (trombone) and Dick Cole (drums) later replaced by Steve Price (drums))

All very smart in their outfits :)

The Jordans were certainly part of the Sonny Threat assemble. Miller and Cole also ring a bell.
