Bettye Swann / Buck Owens - Unreleased Acetate

This is the famed Bettye Swann / Buck Owens duet version of "Today I Started Loving You Again." It was cut for Capitol in 1969 under the supervision of Wayne Shuler, but not released at time due to the racial climate. Only a couple of acetates are known to exist. This one comes with Wayne Shuler's handwritten notes, both on the sleeve and on his monogrammed stationary.

I would conservatively grade this as VG+. It is beautiful with stunning lacquer and plays just the same. You can listen to a clip from this acetate here:
