Mary Wells - 1972 booking contract (Eldorado Club, Huntsville, Alabama).

The contract is dated around the time of Motown's re-release of "My Guy" in the UK. This revived her career briefly (including an appearance on Top of the Pops) but at the same time soon marked a temporary withdrawal from performing to concentrate on her family.

This package contains original contract plus five office carbon copies, six deposit rider copies, and a customer handwritten memo stating  "...money will be telegram(med) to you Sept 1st 1972….please have Mary there on 6 September in plenty time for rehearsal..."  Documents are in very good condition for age, with minimal creasing and no tears.

This item consists of the original contract (AGVA #96232) and a small rider stapled to the form, referring to the need for the artist to report before the booking for radio interview.
