Two treasured records that i own are

FALCONS   GOOD GOOD FEELING   BIG WHEEL

J B TROY    LIVE ON    MUSICOR

Now i first heard these tunes during the mid 80s but did the Falcons or J B Troy get any earlier action at the casino.I cant say that i have ever seen them on any casino playlist but i guess they could have made the tail end days.

Records like the Falcons + the other #s from that label were very much "tape swappers fraternity"  type of sound. There was so much to be had back then at the right kind of affordable price, Millionaires, And the rains came, the Bobby Williams on Sure-Shot, all of the Carnival stuff, so much of the stuff. My claim to fame if I had one wouldn't be for DJing but like me and so many more these things would get played at warm up events by lesser known guys who just was filling in time at a pre allnighter event. Well that's my take on it for what its worth

Do we know who J.B. Troy was ? only 2 records on Musicor (1966) and J.R. Bailey and Johnny Northern writing and producing

Les McCutcheon managed to re-issue "Live-On", but I missed the blurb on it and "Gusto Records Inc" was "King Records" in 1966 and 

Publisher was "Catalogue Music"

Yeah agree with Gilly. Falcons was one of those that used to be dead easy to pick up, people had it in their collections. Great record but nowhere near rare enough to get played much or 'go big' on the allnighter scene..... My god though, I wish I had all those records back now!

Yes. I'd have thought it's almost definitely J.R. Bailey (James Bailey) from the credits.
