Cause You've Asked I've Finally Got Round To This. Well You All Know the Pontiac Advert From 1968 as "Breakaway" But Jimmy Actually Started Doing Jingles As Far Back As 1965!

The Following Are A Sampling Of Spots From Jimmy's Work From 1971, The Biggun Being The Polaroid Advert That Won A Clio Award (The Advertising Worlds Equivalent To An Academy Award)

Polaroid (Recorded 4/10/70, won the Clio for 1971)

Close Up (1/4/71)

Quite often adverts mirror what's going on in popular music.

McDonalds (3/31/71)

This was the "soul" counterpoint to Barry Manilows "pop" versions on the airwaves

Mazola (5/16/71)

This is actually a re-tooling of Jimmy's "Sunday With My Baby" song used in the Harlem Globetrotters cartoon series he was working at the time, besides producing Carolyn Franklin's Albums, Working on a Broadway Musical and creating a television variety show to be called "Soul Stream".

Cheers!

Chris
