Stephen Houghton
It seems to me that the dance floors have come a long way what does anybody think. The one that I remember that was a total bliss, was the memorial hall in Wrexham, that was a soullies dream. The dodgy one was at Blackpool ballroom with loose bits of wood, and my wife went head over heels and broke her wrist Link to comment Social source share

Frankie Crocker
Mister M’s was better than the main room at Wigan. Manchester Ritz was good fun - you let the floor move you so dancing was effortless. Any wooden floor for me, especially with talc in a spot or two. Hated Marley tiles and painted concrete floors. 1 Link to comment Social source share
Popular Post Chas
Ritz Manchester in the 70's when the dance floor was raised up, and the 'heart of England soul club' logo was suspended over the middle. You could be stood at the bar and still feel the bounce. The halcyon days when having a 1000 + attendance was the norm. 3 1 Link to comment Social source share
