Kevin Jones
I met Tami Lynn in about 1971/72 at Minskys Club in Wrexham on a Wednesday night. Soul Sam used to play there on a Wednesday and Tami Lynn was promoting I'm Gonna Run Away From You and was with some Mojo Label people. A lovely lady and she had the most amazing afro hair do. Still remains one of my favourite records. Kev Link to comment Social source share
Mr Fred
I'm gonna run away from you was championed by the Northern soul Scene at the time in particular the Wheel crowd. This is how the record got into the charts and resulting in Tami appearing on BBC's Top Of The Pops. R.I.P. Tami. Fred Ward. 1 Link to comment Social source share
