To find a copy of this in battered Detrot condition is fairly easy, but to find it really clean is a challenge. Both sides are mindblowing good. The uptempo side offers a dancer with a dribbling bass line and excellent group soul harmonies, while the flipside is superb sweet soul. Highly recomended!

Houston Texas double header of the highest order. Top sides provides a driving crossover dancer, that fills floors across the globe. Rather good flipside on top, that slows the tempo down a bit and shuffles along nicely. Vinyl has light marks and plays with minimal surface noise, but nothing detracts from the great music on this fabulous disc.

Genuine first press of this funky 70's mover (second press has an Amherst distribution adress on the label). Unfortunately the first presses are styrene and all copies I ever came across plays slightly hissy and so does this copy here. Nothing to bad and the record cleans up nicely after a few seconds. This is of course the great and underrated Tyrone Thomas behind this super clubby funky soul spin.

RANDOLPH BROWN & COMPANY: It Ain't Like It Used To Be * IC CHAINS, promo, strong VG+ on Stereo side, VG on Mono flip, 50.- Euro

Memphis Modern Soul gem, that was so very very popular some 20 years ago and by recording the soundfile, I thought how good it would sound played ou today. The stereo side plays almost flawless, while the mono flip has some surface marks, that causes some crackles in parts.

The Mizell Brothers team up with gospel singer Rance Allen and the result is mindblowing. An infectious groove bedded in strings and things and above that the majestic voice of Rance Allen. This copy has a kind pressing bubble and pops one time at 30 seconds into the song, otherwise it's solid ex.
