(Northern R&B, not quite traditional raw and bluesy R&B, but just a hint to spice it up.  Horn intro, ivory clinking backing with smooth vocals with occasional mouth-watering “oohs and aahs” from the girl backing.  Overlooked mid-tempo genius)

(Wrights releases on the Chicago Crash and subsidiary labels Mica and Vick demonstrate a turnaround from smooth 50’s vocals to grittier 60s soul, this brassy horn laden dancer hits the right notes, and captivates all the way through.  Fab 45 with cool label design too)
