His choice of music was well judged too and not the usual Frank Wilson etc. Johnny Walker also seemed genuinely interested in the music and what Richard had to say. No one should be shocked that Johnny seemed so interested in the subject though as he was one of the top pirate radio DJ's who played all the new soul sounds back in the mid 60's. Richard shared his expertise of the Northern scene between tracks, coming across well as he always does. However, on the subject of the Casino, Dickie OBE skirted around the R topic, failing to mention him, and ignoring the invitation he took up to form the best Northern Soul partnership I can recall.
