Email issue

Ok, so I've obviously turned something off but my email setting on my I-phone won't work properly, I can receive mail but not able to send. I keep getting a message. I'm with Virgin media but still use the old NTL world e mail I've had for years. It works ok sending from PC but not phone. Message I receive below.

Cannot Send Mail

The Username or password is incorrect.

But its not, it's the correct e mail account and password. Anyone help?

Could be NTL is having issues in general, may sort itself out in a bit, I've had a similar thing with GMX email in the past, always sorted itself out.

I would contact the virgin media online community first and ask the question that you have posted here. Trying to contact virgin via phone is a nightmare.  

I still use the old ntl email address on my Samsung Galaxy ok

I have, all is ok there end. They ran tests etc and sent test mail, all it’s just I can’t send, I’m in Qatar working and it’s a bloody nuisance.
