It's promoted by a lovely man from Los Angeles called Erik (mr soulsatisfaction) and Passes are $65 (which work out quite cheap at the moment due to the exellent exchange rate) and they are allnighters There's four of us going (found some reasonable flights) going to be fantastic mr soulsatisfaction ........Andrew Link to comment

jazzyjas
hello all. to answer your question, I've known about this event for a few months now. I found out through some other web site about it...and just as i've ranted on before in previous posts, no one, but NO ONE has contacted me about it beforehand or asked me to be a part of it. This is what I was talking about with the states being so apathetic and clique-ish about everything. It would be different if I were some total dick and nobody liked me-that would be understandable, but clearly not the case here. I've got no enemies. But hey, what do I know? With a top-notch collection and twenty years professional DJing and a firmer grasp on northern soul than many other Americans, what purpose could I possibly serve at a do like that? But I will most definitely be there for the dream team of deejays lined up. It would be foolish of me to miss that one. I'll at least be along as a punter. I'll be looking forward to the quality. Probably until 7am. I still have to get everyone on the same page and help me work out a schedule. We're hoping to have at least 2 bands that will go on at midnite each nite. It's going to be quite a task working out a schedule. From previous experience, I'm told by the promoter that the Europeans will stay up all nite long because of the time difference. They should have no problem dancing until 7am. I think one of the band is Frank popp (but i'm not entirely sure) Bret we will run a charity night or some kind of auction to get you there we did see some fligts the other day for around £450 (this includes a change in New york) and about £250 a week for a double room at the Venue (will have to check tis again though ...............Andrew Link to comment

I followed each margarita with a strong coffee for 4 days solid! I did quite well at the Blackjack tables and every winning run was finished off at Crazyhorse, the well known lapdancing bar! I was on a bit of a tour round the US and like a fool a booked our flight out of Vegas to NY a day on the morning of the Naz fight! I am jealous sick of all you Vegas bound jetsetters! Be aware that soul may take a back seat cos that place has real distractions! The place is crazier than you could ever imagine. Remember every drink is free at the games tables but it will cost you about £8 for a bud at the bar! Shane Link to comment
