My name is Beth Macari, I am a Soul Artist from Newcastle

I've actually been featured on here before when I used the be the lead vocalist for Nick Pride and the Pimptones

 

I recently won an award in the US for excellence in indie soul (which I still cant quite believe hehe).

Anyway just wanted to say hi, I hope you are well and im keeping everything crossed that we can all gig and get to some lush soul venues ASAP! 

I am gagging for a gig!! Has anyone been to Hoochie Coochie before in Newcastle? Tis a lush soul venue,  one of my fave places to perform.

Hi Beth, Yes, Hoochie Coochie is my favourite venue in Newcastle and the Soul on Sunday are great days, also when Terry Jones is playing is also a great night.

Welcome Beth. Yes Hoochie is amazing , having  dj"d there and we make the trip whenever we can to the SoSa sessions - Soul on Sunday Afternoon which hopefully will be able to resume its last Sunday of the month slot before not too long.
