(Wow, the unmistakable harmonica intro, then Jimmy Frasers stern vocals on the back of a rampant beat with occasional catch your breath pauses, who’d drop out of school on the back of this message, just late starts after long nights at the local Soul club. No official sleeve)

(Fabulous group soul, on the rarer maroon stock label. Small sticker residue and nick on label)

(Philly magic, so laid back, floats along on gentle but persuasive lyrics and mesmerizing backing track, almost a in line with Larry Allen – Could we talk it over. Rarer white demo, vinyl is top end, labels show minor wear and ageing)

Cody Black – I’m slowly molding – King 6148 Promo Ex £950 SOLD

(Fabulous mid-tempo dancer from one of the most prolific artists on the scene. Label has removed sticker mark that looks like it has led to a small tear and repair)

Herb Ward – Honest to goodness – RCA 9688 Promo M- £300

(More fantastic classic northern from the RCA stable. Very subtle edge lift, has no effect on play. Lovely copy)
