Charades - You Better Believe It / Darling Believe Me (Harlem Hitparade) Ex (almost Mint-) £125 SOLD 

Last copy I had of this I could’ve sold ten times over in first ten minutes of listing - seriously scarce and a lovely copy of this underplayed and still only semi known group sound. One time Stafford play is very very hard to find, 500 copies only pressed in 1973 from what was a mid sixties Mercury recording. So much potential in this and can only rise in value. Don’t overlook the lowrider flip side either!

Fabulous Four - If I Knew / Everybody’s Gotta Have A Heart (Saintmo) Mint- £100

Simply superb double sider, with former Stafford topside that sounds like a £1,000 + record. Copies have long since disappeared into collections, and this very rarely shows up anymore. Demand from lowrider collectors for both sides (check out ‘Everybody’s’ for a sublime piece of lowrider group harmony) means this can only rise and rise in value. Lovely copy.

Caesars - Get Yourself Together / (La La) I Love You (Lanie) Vg++ £40

Probably my favourite of the three, absolutely love the lowrider side ‘Together’ finally picking up interest outside the US. Flip it and you have the perfect group harmony dancer. You cannot buy a better record for under £50!
