Mike
Saturday saw a late flying visit over to Sheridans in Dewsbury and had a enjoyable time, more on Sheridans later. Heard good things about the new Ashby niter as well. As always pass on your views While the soul was good, out and about heard so many shitty things going on that just makes you wonder at times if its all worth it. Link to comment
Petebangor
I was at Soul Underground at Walsall on Saturday night.Anyone with a passion for the modern thing should check this venue out.Intimate, friendly with great great music. This has to be one of the best modern nights in the country. The cutting edge of the modern scene.Saturday night saw the scottish duo of Dennis Probert and John Macloughlan along with the legendary Colin Curtis behind the decks. All playing great eclectic sets.Everthing from the classic Leroy hutson 'Wanted And Needed' to the new unreleased version of 'Do This World A Favour'(This is going to be massive)Big shout out to lin taylor the promoter for playing that one.Young Jamie kicked the night off with a superb 2 hour set of Soulful dance/house anyone that hasn't heard him play out or on Solar Radio can catch him at the Prestatyn weekender in the Soulful House room. He's a young man with a great ear for music and technical ability to go with it. SU is second Saturday of the month,Quality Hotel,J7 of the M6 Link to comment
