Thanks for the info Moldie,

It's a great record. Heard it years ago from a John Pugh tape, but never knew who it was as he had it covered up.

Like this one. What's the label? Is it a UK release?

CB

I believe it's UK only on Contact, but one of the other guys can probably confirm.

Is it the same as the Ad Libs on Interphon (or UK Fontana?)

Different thing altogether Gene I think. It's actually a 70's 'tailor made', done by a white UK group who did other stuff to cash in on the Casino buzz at the time. It didn't get a US release as far as I know. It sounds as though it should be awful but it's actually a very good modern, almost crossover midtempo dancer with really nice horns in it and decent vocals for a white fella. I probably shouldn't have sold it to Ian as my missus told me not to, so I'll no doubt regret it especially if she finds out!!

Nice trk - like Marmite - ya either love it or hate it and I love it - I first heard it @ Rock City right back in the very early-80's- sounds much better 'out' than in the 'front room' if u knoworrimean? Was initially going for £50-odd- even back in the early-80s - no fcuker could find it (even Mick Godfrey!) - I believe it may even have been covered up early on?? Anybody confirm? Lovely track anyways...and - no - I ain't

got any copies - Gash had my last one...I think?

Nice little tune that was around late 70's and played heavily early 80's, and yes, quite hard even then (at about a fiver for a fairly 'recent' UK 45).

Glad I kept my copy. Deserves a Re-Spin!
