Ray ===== this along with diane ducane on the same label seem to be having a 2nd lease of life at the moment.. It's actually a 70's 'tailor made', done by a white UK group who did other stuff to cash in on the Casino buzz at the time. It didn't get a US release as far as I know. It sounds as though it should be awful but it's actually a very good modern, almost crossover midtempo dancer with really nice horns in it and decent vocals for a white fella. Was initially going for £50-odd- even back in the early-80s - no fcuker could find it (even Mick Godfrey!) - I believe it may even have been covered up early on?? Anybody confirm? MRez Nice little tune that was around late 70's and played heavily early 80's, and yes, quite hard even then (at about a fiver for a fairly 'recent' UK 45). Glad I kept my copy. Deserves a Re-Spin!
