Julianb
Where are these posted from? The postage seems a tad expensive for low cost 45s. Link to comment Social source share

They are shipped from within the UK and use the Royal Mail First Class Signed For service so not profiting from shipping. Link to comment Social source share

Not saying anyone is profiting from the postage cost. Just think a 'signed for' option at approx £3.50 would be an acceptable alternative to the special delivery cost of £9 Link to comment Social source share

Why not message the sellers rather than moan here? Sure they will accommodate what you want. Link to comment Social source share

The £9 cost was the cheapest cost earlier this week. Perhaps the vendors have realised the postage charges were incorrect and altered accordingly? Anyway, now to place an order for a couple! Hope you are well Link to comment Social source share

Allchilledout
Ordered both of these on 14th and copies for a friend. The option I selected was first class signed for at a cost of £4. Actual postage cost £3.79 leaving 21 pence for packaging. Two happy customers hoping to hear these tunes played, not just at home but out and about. 1 Link to comment Social source share

Hope you are well Hi Julian, we always go first class recorded as mainstay, this is to ensure that people get their records and if they go missing we either resend new ones or refund if not available. the special delivery is a selectable option on smaller orders and is only insisted upon on larger orders to ensure they are covered for our customers. We had some issues where larger orders going to places like Australia were not being charged postage. Just as a note we charge £3.50 and Paypal take its charge out of that. we try to keep all costs down as we don't think it is right to gouge anyone on postage or the 45s. either our releases or other labels we stock - even if they are sold out everywhere else. all the best Mark 1 Link to comment Social source share

Thank you for highlighting this, you are right and we also get hit with a charge from Paypal on the amount paid for postage. Normally about 3.5% of the sum, in the case above about 14p.
