I think this is it from Bonnie Miller on Astro Records found also on Casino Classics The Forgotten Floorshakers which is really very interesting this is from 1974 the record on the Master label Alder Ray is number is 1004 (see scan above) according to discogs 1003 is The Masque dated 1970. The Alder Ray is missing from the list, but next is Little Stanley Got Back 109 1975. Master 1005 is J Frank Wilson Give Me Tomorrow  (no date) so this seems to fit in with that dateline of Alder Ray and the two Houston labels in between. Oh the writers are the same in both records Fred Hughes and Joseph Allen. Does anybody know the link between the two singers?

It was initially suggested that they were one in the same singer, but since, opinions vary now.

Someone got a better copy

And at a more affordable price too!

Seen the one on Popsike when looking for an idea of value on the battered eBay copy.  Shows the difference when Funkyou put it out there with their following. Still, you’d think bids wouldn’t have hit the level they did given the recent 50 dollar copy.

That copy was severely warped and didn't play correctly during the first third of the songs. Regardless, it was listed without soundfile and few people seems to have been aware of it prior to funkyou's auction. Soundclips and seller reach is everything when it comes to these types of records.
