FORCE - HOLY MOSES french sung version COVER UP for sale.

Sometimes it’s fun how record digging life goes. 
The story begin when I saw and heard for the first time the original song on streaker played by Dave Thorley in the modern room at SoulShakers Bamberg. I heard later that the song was initially played by Marc Forrest

Anyway, the instant groove of the baseline, the flute solo and the unbelievable chorus hit me straight to my face and bumped my heartbeat. It’s probably a common feel to most of you but I hear this voice (again): “I need to find this record”

Few years later, during a digging session in my hometown i was lucky to excavate the French issue of this stratospheric and super overlooked piece of wax. 

The French issue was penned under the band name Saratoga Trunk with a 30 seconds additional version and issued on a major label United Artist and pressed on an heavy dynamic vinyl. 

I sent public the reference and a happy few dj’s and collectors got the chance to secure copies before the price of the record rocket too high. 

The story could  stop at this moment but few years back, a connexion with an employee at the French society of authors, composers and editors of music give me the info that the major companies United Artists Records Inc has given authorization to used the copyright for a French artist.  At this time it was common to retroceded rights for interpretation. 

With the knowledge that a third version could existing the chase was on again.  
Since then I spotted only two copies and selling today one of those.

I’ve just heard that Cannonball Records team find an acetate of this French third version and are on the point to repress it covered up. 

For those that do cover-up here is a real chance to own the original issue and grab a nice piece of the puzzle.
