Visual grade: M- €250 Pro-Fascination – Something on my mind / Overpowering love – MOT 777 Stunning Louisiana ballad by the “Try Love Again” boys. Visual grade: EX €225 Otis Redding – Shout bamalama / Fat gal – Orbit 135 Iconic R&B rocker and the first release from this all-time great soul voice. Came out just a couple of months after the Confederate issue on this pretty awesome looking label. surface marks with very little impact on play, even during the acapella parts. Visual grade: VG €200 Jon Lucien – Rashida EP – RCA 0038 DJ Copy Highly collectable 4 track EP that served as promo for the Rashida LP. Visual grade: Vinyl - Strong VG, Sleeve - VG €170 Gloria Walker & The Chevelles – You hit the spot baby / Walking with my new love – Flaming Arrow 37 Sister funk killer that outshines its four figure counterpart and probably in my top-3 played out tunes ever. If this one doesn’t get you moving you might wanna go see a doctor. Visual grade: EX €120 Lenore Gospel Singers – Sanctified lord / Must Jesus bear this cross – Adams 1000 Sick and mega rare uptempo R&B bomb. This might not pop up again for a number of years. Visual grade: Strong VG €120 Wiley Patterson & The Four-Um – Let’s make it one world / Dream a dream a day – GP 519 Two cuts from the legendary album and most definitely their rarest release. Impossible to find in this condition. Visual grade: M-, storage warp NAP €100 Teri Thornton – Where was I / Molly Marlene – Mothers 1000 Super soulful but very much overlooked 45 by one of the greatest female voices in jazz. Comes with the extremely rare pictur sleeve. Visual grade: Vinyl – VG to VG+, Sleeve VG €100 Connell – What do I think / Time after time – Nellcon 002 Atmospheric modern sweet soul obscurity. Looks unplayed. Visual grade: M- €80 The Natural Resources Unpolluted – Don’t bite the hands that feeds you / Funky with my stuff – Dore 854 Fabulous LA sweet soul with a funk flip. Visual grade: EX €80 The Markeys – Someone is watching you / Last mile of the way – Hymnal 1010 LA gospel mover from the mid-70s with as much bass as you can possibly fit into a 7” record. Visual grade: VG €75 Love, Unity and Virtue – Let love shine / Beauty – Six Nine Acoustic lo-fi recording but a thing of beauty. Came out a couple of years back but people are finally wising up to this. Sleeve is signed, small crease on the top right corner and top seam has been unglued. Visual grade: Vinyl M- Sleeve VG+ €60 Blaze Foley – Oval room / Girl scout cookies – Vital 7077 To cuts from his country folk holy grail. Oval room is a really cool anti-presidential song, worth checking out if you don’t know it yet. Visual grade: Strong VG €50 The Strangers – This brave new world / In the beginning – Afton 1700 Obscure instrumental surf rocker in clean shape. Visual grade: EX €45 The Dynasonics – You got it / Soul bug – Dynamics 1014 DJ Copy Semi-known instrumental Detroit scorcher that takes no prisoners. Visual grade: M- €40 The Johnny Otis Show feat. Barbara Morrison – Hey boy! I want ya’ / ******, please! – Jazz World 70 Funky, yet super soulful modern that’s that’s 100% essential for everyone with even a passing interest in the genre. Visual grade: Strong VG+ €40 Southland Singers of Baltimore, Md – I have to cry sometime / I found the answer – SAS 24075 Lively Ohio black gospel that never turns up. Visual grade: VG €40 The Precisions – If this is love / You’ll soon be gone – Drew 1003 A piece of Detroit history and one of Mike Terry’s finest moments, which is saying a lot. Visual grade: VG+ to EX €35 Joseph Gray – R.S.V.P. / Believe – Emergency 4556 Emotionally charged electro jam that you won’t be finding any cheaper. Visual grade: M-, medium storage warp NAP €35 The Manhattans – All I need is your love / Our love will never die – Carnival 526 Driving northern dancer with ballad flip. Visual grade: EX €30 Spot & The Blotters – Circulating / Soul circle – Equal 459601 Private Michigan funk 45. Some quantity was found a couple of years back but copies are drying up and this is my last one Visual grade: M- €30 Joe Fossett – I remember / Happy birthday mama – Jar-Val 7801 Esoteric oddball modern ballad that has sold for serious loot in the past. Visual grade: VG €25 Paula West – You’re in trouble / Where do I go from here – Nale 2000 Clean and cheap copy of this semi-known sister funk 45. Visual grade: M- €25 J.C. Davis – Sweet sweet love / Monkey – Chess 1858 Energy-packed Chicago R&B Visual grade: VG to VG+ €20 J.B. Bingham – Peek-a-boo (mono / stereo) – WB 7775 DJ Copy Super suave soul ballad.
