Anyone know of any good ones worth planning my tip round. Hoping to get to germany, france, sweden... well everywhere, so listings for any nights anywhere will do. Ah'thankya. But there are many other regular events in Germany, for example in N¼rnberg, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Berlin, M¼nchen, Bremen... There are a few things going on in Finland as well but can't say anything about the summer yet. The Stockholm mini-weekender, Wiman Casino, is highly recommended, it's in late May. I've heard its mega! link I don't think there is anything 'mega' about the soul scene in Sweden to be honest. At times certain nights at certain events have been mega good, but most other things are micro rather than mega. It is true what Heikki says, I along with two friends used to run a club in Gothenburg (not Stockholm) that at least during the best nights was damn good if I may say so myself. We lost the venue for the autumn of 2004, BUT, we got it back again this spring. We will run our club the second Saturday of the month in February, March, April and May. There is also an allnighter planned for the first Saturday of May in Malm¶ that should be good. Bad news is that I dont think there is much on anywhere (that is worth visiting) during the period from early June till early/mid July. I have been thinking of maybe doing something this summer since the summers are always dead over here, so all is not lost yet. Bunch of swedish DJs and also had some UK faces like: Ginger Taylor, Kenny Burrell, Terry Davies, Nige Brown etc. Northern floor and outside Modern floor. Soulastatic is on at Pusterviksbaren every last saturday regulary 22.00-03.00, 25-26 feb is the 7th year anniversary weekend with swedes and uks on the decks. www.soulastatic.just.nu cheers! Like Christian (cesar) says, mainly nights, only a few nighters a year, at best. Christian, will you run Soulastatic this summer then? In June and July?
