Think Jamie brought subject up again

dunno if any use or valid, but thought maybe of interest

suppose only someone with access to pre-find and after can confirm

possible diffs - labels off centre slightly

weight difference as well due to diff vinyl but needs to be weighed

was something else but info bit hazy now

its just a pass on, suppose need a few copies to be sure and then maybe still be possible doubt

I bought a Joe King (PRIX) pre-find, when it was a "mega-rarity" for a hefty price at that time

The 'new' ones are identical in every way!! Doh!

I'm 100% sure that all the Prix-stuff on ebay are authentic.

Including Royal Esquires, Eddie Ray etc.etc. Think they all came

from the label owner himself.

Cheers,

Christian :shades: B

We seem to be going round in circles on this subject.

As i said the other day to John Parker, i put a pre find Royal Esquires next to one of the recent copies, then i put it next to another, just to make sure, they are identical in every way. Believe me, i didn't want them to be, as i paid £1200 for my first one a number of years before. This is all part of collecting rare records. It happened to me years ago with Danny Moore. I refused an offer of £1500 for my demo, 2 months later all the issues turned up reducing it to fifty quid! And you can bet it will happen with something else soon. Knowing my luck with the Rouser thing. :shades: Shit happens. No more about the Prix label, please.

Pottsy.

as said just something heard and thought worthy of a pass on after reading a recent post, fact people have said "nah not valid" at least discounts it, so while prix thing means squat to me it did do some use :shades:
