Morning!

I must admt that my knowledge of the modern soul stuff isn't as good as it could be, but there are a couple of tunes that I cant get out of my head and would like to track down if possible.

1) Coke Escovedo - I wouldn't change a thing

Tooooon!! I suspect this may be an album track as it isn't listed in Manships guide. Anyone got an idea of price and availability?

2) Eon - We'll go on (you & me).

https://the.soulclub.org/cgi-bin/alpha?s=E

Again, not on Manships list. What label is it on. Is it an Album track? How much for this beauty

There are usually 1 or 2 a month to be found on EBAY at £15 to £20 although I have noticed that a few more people are bidding on these since the release of the re-issue.

There's 1 for sale now at : -

As has been pointed out, the Coke Escovedo track is on his LP Comin´ At Ya! which is extremely easy to find (often factory-sealed unplayed copies) and dead cheap too.

More and more people seem to discover the LP, but it is still a cheapie.

It keeps turning up all the time at record fairs and flee markets, at least around where I live

Eon track from LP Eon on Scepter Records, 1975.

But beware, the group did another self-titled LP for Ariola in 1978!

The Eon LPs shouldn´t be very expensive either.

I have the 3 albums mentioned in this post, so if you want more info about them feel free to ask.

Coke Escovedo had several tracks played at the Ritz funk alldayers in the late 70's I recall.
