I may be wrong as i'm dredging this up from 30 odd years ago, but I think "Superdance" is the instrumental of "Hully Gully" and not an official release.

But sorry I haven't got one.

Your memory doesn't fail you Paul - the boots had the vocal/instr. versions, both titled "Superdance", when as you say the vocal is "Hully gully".

Another of Simon Soussan's releases I believe, like the instrumental to the Furys etc. played at Wigan in early 1974 - though whether Fred Smith @Mirwood collaborated with this I'm not sure.

Besides the Mirwood recordings, Soussan wiped the vocals off several other big Northern tracks, that were definitely NOT done with the cooperation of the legal owners!

Correct .....

" Supper dance " ( as it was called in some circles ) , was one of Simon Saucepan's " creations " that were played at t'Casino .....

The disc , like countless others at the time , were ' manufactured ' by this gentleman , to meet the

' needs of the dancefloor ' ......

Fred Smith was not involved with any of the Mirwood " instrumentals " , and it is highly unlikely that Saucepan obtained the recordings legally , whatever some people who were associated with him , and the discs at the time , will say .....
