Had a good night Saturday, deciding to do an Oldies night (Wheel/Torch/Casino/Mecca sounds) was the right thing to do I think. Good crowd in, all enjoyed the night I think, one guy at the end of the night said the music was'nt his cup of tea, but hey The Welly as a venue needs to be playing those sort of sounds. All the DJ's played what we think was a good cross section of Soul Sounds (as advertised) with plenty of people on the dancefloor. Job Done!! IMHO. Over the years we have had a good across the board policy at Easington, with some great Dj's playing some great stuff, we will continue to do so, but the most popular with the majority of Easington regulars seems to be the dancefloor fillers so you will always here them at some time or another. Still you cant please all the people all the time can you. So we will be Back again Saturday August 4th with hopefully 2 Quality Guest DJ's from the North East. (keep em peeled) Link to comment
