Looking for suggestions for tracks (LP or 45 format) that are in a similar vein to:-

We the People "Make my daydream real"

Gloria Scott "Too much love making" and "What am I gonna do"

David Ruffin "Rode by the place"

Thanks, Ray

Yep. I hear stuff I've not heard before most weeks. There's always a surprise. Had one today in fact.

Ian D :)

Can I say snap to that Ian, after looking up "Billy Young - Burning Up" (Below) for this thread I came across a disco version I had never heard. Mind you I posted on another thread, LP only Northern Tracks "Real and Realy For Real - Tribe" and Mr Benson pointed out to me that it had been released on 45, so you learn something new everyday too.

This is a great quality 70's soul record.  Reminds me a little of Douglas and Lonero!

It is a pity it's only on LP and not a single 45rpm.

The original LP from 1975 is very hard to get now, but it has been reissued on a Look-a-Like L.P.

"IF ONLY I COULD PROVE TO YOU"
