Sun Lovers On Revue

Recommended Posts

Anyone heard of this, I've never seen it listed. It's the Joey Jefferson outfit, late 60s Ton Of Dynamite uptempo raw funk type of deal.

Doesn't ring any bells Ady :wicked:

The Sunlovers are the same group as The Inspirations on Breakthru. Johnny Hendley was in the band. They were in touch with me recently, subsequently Kev has interviewed lead singer 'Charles Diamond'.

But sorry, never heard of the record on Revue.

Some info passed on a while back by Andy Rix....John Hendley was John as in John and The Weirdest. No one knows who the Wierdest are. According to Joey Jefferson John Hendley became mentally ill and was in psychiatric hospital. Cal Green last saw him in 1968.

Ady.

Yep, it's called Main Street. If you've got one with a B side, I'll have it off you, mine's a double sided demo.

Cheers
