Gennas 4th Anniversary - Friday Feb 5th

Guest AudraT

Recommended Posts

Just wanted to thank the guys who run the Dundee night.

We travelled to Scotland on Thursday evening with a brief stop in Aberdeen and then headed to Dundee on Friday.

The venue and the music were excellent, and I must say that it's the best night that I've been to in ages. Must be the superb Scottish hospitality.

Hope to see you all up there again soon.

Audra

(P.S. Thanks to all who talked to me about Billy MacKenzie - I didn't get to his grave in the end, but I think I know where it is now - so maybe next time!)

Yes, but Julie's Aberdonian accent had them baffled -in fact it had me baffled! :wicked:

A huge thanks to Audra & Martin Thomson and Julie for making the trek through to Dundee for our soul night on Friday.

Martin Thomson, Alan Patterson and Keith Money provided the punters with a great mix of soul music and helped give us the best music and atmosphere we have had at Gennas in the four years we have been running it. Thanks for an amazing night.

Hi Ali

I've seen info for a night at The Tunnel - is that the new venue for the Belmont or is that a new night?

I believe that on 9th April the venue will be changed from The Belmont to The Tunnel as an experiment to see how it goes. Gasher/Tubbs will be able to give you more info. I believe The Tunnel is situated off Union Street (behind Marks & Spencers).
