Top night at The Earl again on Friday , numbers still down(approx 50-60) but up from last month , obviously doesn't help that Terry & John had to change dates to make way for Wedding Receptions,Etc especially when it clashes with a couple of popular events on their regular nights less than an hour away and I know of at least a dozen Earl regulars who went elsewhere but the good news is The Earl is now returning to the 1st Friday for the rest of the year starting Sept 7th with Soul Sam as guest.

Some excellent tunes played by all involved on Friday but especially Rob Kay who always delivers the goods and played a great mixed set. Nice early set from Den Mack as well.

Good to see Mark & Liz, Brian & Jill from Derby on our territory for a change, I think they enjoyed it.
