Guest NASHEE
I have to echo all the above sentiments... Great music..friendly people, good venue. Spent most of the night in the R&B room. Great toons from Ted, Bob, Joe & Killa... But for me Mik Parrys spot was sublime....A superb mix of Knowns...Semi Knowns, Unknowns.......&...THAT RECORD....You know the one...I MUST HAVE IT...Life as we know it depends entirely on me getting a copy Had intelligent in depth conversations, with many folk...captive in nicotine corner....ha ha ha...there was no escape for you...was there? Mo my friend, where did you go...I was just getting started Hi Karen....Hi Howard. Was all set to have intelligent indepth conversation with Mickey Cruise & his love child...but after sitting with them for half an hour, I realised that this would not be possible, without doing myself some sort of mental injury...so slipped away unseen via side entrance. OH Bugger...It has just been pointed out to me by a trusted friend that ...the indepth, intelligent conversations of last night...were a mere figment of my imagination. The reality being, that I had spent most of the evening talking drivel, garbage and nonsense to those poor unsuspecting sods... trying to have a quiet fag. Going for a lie down in a darkened room....Linda Link to comment
Anton L
Felt like rubbish before getting on the coach (due to too much coffee), almost didn't get on the coach but decided to let the caffine wear off. Wow so glad I went, great sounds even better people, came home and chewed my dear wifes ear off, telling her what a great time I had. A very big thanks to Mickey and Rose, Linda and Rob for running me around. Link to comment

pow wow mik
Thought it was a good night. A great venue with great potential, thanks to Joe for asking me to play & the R&B in the R&B room was one of the best, most energetic nights of R&B I've ever heard, great loud sound, just a shame it was like a sauna in there, some fans needed next time should sort it out. As for the main room, thought it was a great room and noticed nothing wrong with the dancefloor but the sound needs sorting out. If a bunch of crusty free party techno types can get together a decent rig, them I'm sure you can. I'm particularly fussy about sound but after the clearness of the R&B room, it felt like you were listening to it from the bottom of the swimming pool and while the music seemed great, the sound didn't do it justice. Maybe my ears had had a battering from the super loud R&B room, but it took me a minute to realise what track was playing sometimes. Greatnight all in all though! Link to comment

Agree about the poor sound quality in the main room but this wasn't helped by the music from the R'nB room drifting into the main hall. I was at the back of the main room all night (ok I could have moved) and I could hear the R'nB in my left ear all night! Think the promoter really needs to make the decision of only using venues where the rooms don't interfere with each other. Just my opinion...
