vaultofsouler Posted September 2, 2007 Share Posted September 2, 2007 The "end of an era" at our 2nd Friday of the month soulful shindig in Sheffield has arrived.... so this will be the last night held at this venue and organised to tie in with the 7th Anniversary night before we move onto to pastures new.... We'd like to thank EVERYONE who has supported us at Ponds Forge over the last 7 years, including all the many excellent guest DJs that have "done their bit" over the years, and of course the management for being so supportive.... Details of the new venue we will be moving the night to will follow shortly but for now here's the details of what we hope will be "one helluva party night" to end "Vault of Soul's" time at Ponds Forge in style.... ~Vault of Soul ~ ~ Friday 14th September ~ ~ FREE ENTRY with a limited amount of FREE CDs ~ with 2 special guests for the night.... Guest lagerlout Posted September 8, 2007 Share Posted September 8, 2007 The lager,s will be in attendance for the final ponds forge night and booked into our regular hotel as travelling back is a deffo "no no" . looking forward to hearing about the new venue for the V.O.S. nights and hope everyone gives it there full support in the future. this will also be the last opportunity to see Shadow the wonder horse at ponds before he goes out to stud... Sorry I can't be there. Seems like there's always something on when I wanna go out. Having a bird really screws up the calendar. You end getting invites to loads of weddings and engagements etc. It's all bollox, I tell ya Anyways, thanks for the mamories. Enjoyed my spot there before the Derby All-Dayer a few years ago. Will miss Bretts enigmatic appearances, Linguini Man [shane], Parking Tickets, Brett farting next to Jo Wallace's bloke and running off, Selling records too cheap to Pikey's family, Shane's jumpers, That black guy who danced like he was skipping, Mark tweaking the mixer every 2.45 secs. I have enjoyed my trips to Ponds Forge over the years but they did get somewhat infrequent over the last year or so due to work commitments.
