I wouldn't think for a minute you would Davie. Like I said it is better than a lot of the crap thats played under the banner of R&B, still think there's so much soul out there though before stuff like this gets played, IMHO.

everything deserves it's day whether it is established soul or not ..and the boundaries need pushed to see what you can get away with...maybe not in a way a lot of people will approve of but never bothered me before and it ain't gonna stop me now shades.gif ....

if that tune had fell on it's arse i would have admitted it and never played it again but i'm glad it never whistling.gif

Here's my set from LIfeline 1st Anniversary on Saturday night  shades.gif

Frankie Newsome - Coming On Strong, Staying Long - Sagport

hey top record - nearly as good as Tudgay's header at Rovrum on Saturday. Maybe we should have gone to the Lifeline after all on Sat rather than celebrate in Sheff. whistling.gif

Also, flip of this - Last bus from Tupelo - is one of me faves of the moment. Top deep - a weird thing like with no chorus or riff but a blinding one to wallow to with a malt or 3 nonetheless.
