Guest Posted February 23, 2005 Share Posted February 23, 2005 TAXI returns to Leeds on Saturday 5th March in a new home. We have now moved to Upstairs at Santiago in the Grand Arcade. Santago already caters for customers of a certain age that enjoy some thing a little different and their existing (downstairs) music policy is dominated by a mixture of classic funk and soul to nu jazz beats. We have also decided to make TAXI a free event. Music policy is Soul, Funk, Disco & Boogie and we will also be reflecting 30 years of Salsoul too. Last month some great sides got played including Womack, GQ, Gwen Mcrae, Sharon Redd, Stephanie Mills, Jean Carne, D Train. Reel People are in town on the same night so if you are going to see them live make sure you join us afterwards.
