Guest Posted January 30, 2004 Share Posted January 30, 2004 I purchased an excellent record from u.s. ebay few months back, Willie Parker 'Ive Got To Fight It' on M-Pac. I never see this listed, never hear it being played yet it is a stunning dancer. Guy H used to play it back in the late 80's. Guest Posted January 30, 2004 Share Posted January 30, 2004 Hi person with no name! :-) Its a great record as you stated already and yes it did get spun by various dj's in the 8ts and early 9ts. The thing is it never really took off like many other great tunes. Most serious collectors are aware of the record but it has remained a little obscure... i remember selling a spare back in the early 9ts for £40/50. I think it holds the same value todayas one was on a list recently.
