Interesting to know for my self and for others.

Who are the djs out there, Were they live and what styles they play. It would be good to have a list of djs that are for hire for promoters ect.

Has this been done before?

I WILL START

Interesting....

Given that around 1/2 to 2/3rds of the scene is made up of the average 'local' type soul nite playing Top 500 type stuff I wonder if this pecentage will be reflected in the replies?.... ie most jocks saying "I play mostly safe stuff"... :D

Anyone's interested into an old Oi music spot...? Cockney Rejects, 4 Skins, Business, Cock Sparrer, Angelic Upstarts, etc. etc...?

Original vinyl only.

well one out of 3 not bad .... if a venue is one i'd go to as a punter and respect then i'm quite happy to do it for nothing , if it's not i wouldn't accept the gig anyway .....not in it for money , just preaching the gospel lol

"England" angelic upstarts

"England"

The red in the flag

is the blood that was spilt

in the way that your forefathers tell

And never a country been so great

The stories Britannia could tell

I never want to live my life

away from the golden shores

There's never a country in the world

with the scent of an English rose

England, oh England a country so great

the land of so fair and so true

There'll never be any colours like

the red, the white and the blue

Whenever you go to the far-off shores

there's something that goes with you

The pride and the joy and the love

that comes from your mother of red, white and blue

You could never be born under a flag

that's like the one of the Union Jack

St. George's spirit has never died

It all keeps coming back

England, oh England... [5x]

Used to sing that tune with Colin McFault (Sparrer singer) a lot of times in his pub "The Stick Of Rock" in Bethnal Green many moons ago...
