The Mods - Dry My Eyes Fona Dj Copy - Chicago Label

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

I found a great Northern 45 rummaging through my records downstairs.

If anyone could let me know values/make me an offer, that would be great.

There are some sort of white spots on the upper left-hand corner of the 45 showing up on the photo, but they're not on the record.

The a-side label is in VG+ condition. There's a light X in what appears to be grease pencil, a very tiny stain and some very light ring wear. The b-side label is in VG+ condition with light ring wear.

The 45 grades between VG and VG+ (almost VG+, but not quite there) due to light marks on both sides. The 45 plays M-, however and sounds great.

I would imagine there aren't that many DJ copies out there for this label.

Hope to hear from you!

Many thanks.

Think I got 125 for the issue. It's a rare record alright. Must be worth 200 on demo. Though whether you'd get it is a different matter

It's whiter than snow... but I've always liked it.

First heard it on a 1985 tape from the legend that is Pete Miles.

Carl Fortnum gave it the odd outing too... albeit 15 or more years ago.

Sounds great in a venue, last time I heard it was when my mate played it in the Main Hall in Lowton a couple of years ago.
