It is indeed. I bought a copy a few weeks ago for about £40. It's on one of the bigger Chicago labels (Checker).

However, I was after it for a few years and never came across it. I think its an obscure record that has never had too many plays on the scene hence its relatively cheap price.

Maybe now that it has had exposure on a TV ad it might go up in price.

One of my all time favourite records. Had it on a cd for years. I would love to hear this record out. It has a great energy. It's a gem. Pounding Northern meets R&B.

Good luck finding a copy it took me ages.

Found mine for $0.50 in some hippies basement a while back. I've spun it and heard it spun a few times in Minneapolis.

Im more concerned about what you were doing in a hippy's basement in the first place?

I was weirded out the whole time, but he had 10,000 45s in his basement. Most 50's, 60's male vocalists/pop-chart stuff, but I pulled out a few things by Vibrations, Darrell Banks, and J.J. Barnes all promos, and a ton of Etta James and Sugar Pie DeSanto too.

Great record twas big on the mod scene mid to late 1980's. Should be relatively easy off one of the big dealers.

Go Go Power is on a charley album of the same name. Its an ace chess/checker/cadet compilation, inc Marlena Shaw,Johnny Nash,Terry Callier and more.

It came out in 92 under cat no ARC512.

Picked mine up in Rob's Records-Nottingham-Nottinghams/countrys finest but most untidy record shop. Allan
