Guest luis
Hi, I'll be in New York from 22th April / 1 May. Tips for record hunting? Shops, record fairs, collectors contacts? soul-funk venues for that time? Thanks a lot. luis AT soulfultorino DOT it Link to comment Social source share

Club Groove NYC , situated at 125 MacDougal @ W 3rd Street , NYC 10012 ........ A small live music club / bar in Greenwich Village , featuring one of the best funk / soul combos ( Linard ) that I have ever seen ......... The drinks prices are reasonable , and the staff make you very welcome ........ There is an old - style pizza place across the road as you walk - or stagger - out , which is the perfect way to end the night ......... Bleecker Bob's Record Store is next door to the pizza place : well picked over these days , but still some bargains to be found / had .........
