Realpeoplesmusic
Thanks to Kev C for sorting out the Rnb room, it was good would of been nice to have a few more dancers + more of a party atmosphere in there it was good but could of been great considering the music on offer. 'Special thanks to Rob and Linda for allowing us to be entertained by the Nuneaton joker. Found someone who talks more bollox than me but god he was funny'. Think that was me , Things did get messy behind the decks in my second set, I'll put it down to the bottle of vodka + poppers + enthusiasim . I was that pissed i even played the seme record twice in the same set . I remeber trying to get abit of atmosphere going by using the mic but instead aload of swearwords + as steve puts it bollocks came out, still glad i entertained you thats what it all about . Hope everyone that came into the Rnb room enjoyed the sounds. I spent quite abit of time in the big room, highlight for me was hearing 'little john - just wait and see' played out also in the Rnb room it was 'Lenny Johnson - Am I still your fool' nice one kev . cheers Callum. Just want to agree with what others have said really... a most enjoyable night. Started bumping into good friends before I even got through the door and that was the way of it for the whole event... a great atmosphere, really friendly. Heard some good music in the lovely main room and whenever it wasn't to my liking, e.g. when some joker played Muriel Day, I strolled into the excellent R&B room where there was a nice buzz and a good variety of that under-rated genre! Even managed to hear one or two records that were played in both rooms, which was just fine by me. Not been to Rugby for some time, but I shall back for the next one. Link to comment
