The Jerma release has 'I Guess I Love You' on the flip as to 'Sweet Pea' on the Conduc 45. I'm assuming the versions of 'Sad Times' are the same.If your buying just for 'Sad Times' I'd go for the Conduc 45 - IGILY is an ok track but worth the extra $$? Personally no.

The soul harmony singles book lists two pressing of the jerma 45, one that has the time as 2:30 and one that has the time as 2:35. I have the one that has it listed as 2:35. The time listed on the conduc release is 2:39. I compared deadwax and they are identical, so it's actually the same plates used between my conduc and my jerma 45. I'm guessing that the one listed as 2:30, if it exists, is also just a different label but the same recording / plates.

i have the said conduc 45 in mint minus condition the sweet pea side plays perfectly where as the sad times side plays off centre very odd indeed is this the same on all copies??

cookie

I've had 5-6 copies of this, I don't think I've noticed sad times ever being off center on it.

Bob, you've come thru again for me " thanks. Cheers on all words; I agree in that the flip of the Jerma ain't worth my $ but "Sad times" gets me. Enough aside then for a copy of Nick Allen on Walas... Sweet.
