Guest
Had a fantastic night, as always spent a large part of it in the record bar talking the usual rubbish with the usual suspects! Overdone it slightly at one point so big thanks to Killa and Mr Rivers for keeping an eye on me! Steve very kindly asked me to double deck with him for the first hour, which I thoroughly enjoyed. We took turns and played 3 records each. Here's the list of stuff I spun.....pretty sure I've got it right: Bobby Dobyne & Barefacts - Soulful Kind Of Music Soul City - Cold Hearted Blues Startones - Lovin You Baby Endeavors - I Know You Don't Want Me Contacts - You Gonna Pay Free & Easy - Peace And Love Pic & Bill - Talk About Love Dorothy Berry - Shindig City Tyn Tymes - Baby I Love You Carl Holmes - Soul Dance No 3 Vondors - Look In The Mirror Mary Lou Williams Band feat Leon Thomas - You Know Baby Edited August 10, 2008 by Guest Link to comment

spirit
My first Winsford, and a great night. Wonderful music and a cracking atmosphere, and I met a few very nice new people too. In particular it was very interesting talking to Alex, and I'd also like to thank Anton (above) for making me feel very welcome and his information on the London scene, and for the kind offer to introduce me to others (you gave me your card - I'll text you my details at some point), which I hope to take you up on at a future time. Link to comment
