I might have added Tony Clarke - The Entertainer to the list but over the past year or so i have managed to get some of the biggest named DJ's to spin this for me at venues, it's my oldies fave teehee

Got one that isnt a forgoten oldie, might even be overplayed in some clubs I havent been tolately, but is an absolute monster in my bedroom is:

One of those records you could use to 'define' Northern Soul to the uninitiated.

Classic. Big smiles here. Sunday night at Cleethorpes with memories of Hinckley in the first venue. Ultra Violet lights, Reggie being played 8 times a night, Haunting intro to Jerry Williams. Do do do do dodo do, I love you, I love you. YES!

And Peter and Grant, Joey Dee!! How could we forget! I dj'ed a few times back in the early 80s. What a rush, first time dj'ing, played that and seeing the floor packed with dancers! Cant beat that feeling!

What does Ree Flores ....look into my heart, go for nowadays, now there is a track I wouldn't mind, i always ask Bob Hinsley to play it. Got some old tapes at home from when Guy Hennighan used to do a radio spot on BBC radio Derby ( 1986 _ 1988 ) Loads of stuff you don.t here now.
